"NOT FOR PROFIT, NOT FOR CHARITY, BUT FOR
SERVICE"
Lewis Clark Credit Union is a non-profit, member owned
and member controlled financial institution that began
in 1939. Charter members were teachers in the Lewiston
School District whose goal was to form an organization
that promoted thrift and offered a source of credit for
loans for provident and productive purposes. Over the years
this philosophy has prevailed and has been the foundation
for our growth and success.
Lewis Clark Credit Union was established under a Federal
Charter and was called Lewis Clark Federal Credit Union.
Early in 1998, our board of directors chose to convert
our Federal Charter to a State Charter; so effective December
31, 1998, we became State Chartered and dropped the word
Federal from our name.
Our primary purpose is to provide the financial services
our members need and want to be financially successful.
Please feel free to share with us products and services
you feel would be beneficial to our membership.
