The following are the Board of Directors Candidates:
Joni Drake (incumbent)
Joni Drake grew up in the LC Valley where she graduated from LCSC with a degree in psychology. She has focused her career on positions that make a difference in the community. Her passion for helping people brought her to the opportunity to serve as executive director of the Willow Center for Grieving Children. Prior to that, while living in Boise, she worked as a program manager for the Department of Juvenile Corrections where she managed a $4.0 million state taxpayer fund used for youth addiction treatment. Joni currently performs business development for Fas Psych, a nationwide tele psychiatry company. Being involved in the community and volunteering has always been one of Joni’s passions. She’s excited to serve on the LCCU Board and give back to the LC Valley. Joni has two sons, Anthony, 22, and Michael, 19. She loves that the LC Valley is in close proximity to her greatest passion, the outdoors. She loves to go camping, kayaking, fly fishing, and hiking. The North Fork of the Clearwater is her favorite place on Earth!
Sherri Kumm (incumbent)
Sherri was born and raised in Lewiston and graduated from Lewiston High School and attended LCSC while working. She is now retired but previously worked at DC Wellness in Clarkston and, for many years, as a receptionist at Chipman & Taylor Auto. Sherri also owned and operated the UPS Store for ten years and worked for eight years in the Title 1 Room at the Clarkston School District where she loved working with the young children. Sherri and her husband John have two adult daughters, four grandchildren and a great-granddaughter. They enjoy spending time in the outdoors and with their families.
